Completing the Manrose family the WF/XF300 range of 12" fans give a powerful extract rate of 1500m³hr, 416 litres per second.
 
The WF300 is designed for window mounting and can also be wall mounted using our wall mounting fixing kit. The WF300 has three models in its range. The basic model with fixed louvres, the manual model with internal pullcord operated backdraught shutters and the automatic model with thermo-activated internal shutters which open silently and automatically when the fan is switched on.
 
The XF300 has two model in its range. The standard model has fixed louvres, which will also provide a natural source of trickle flow ventilation when the fan unit is switched off. The automatic model has thermo-activated internal backdraught shutters which open silently after the fan has been switched off. The XF300mm 12" built-in wall fans are designed for flush fitting into external walls.
 
Incorporating the latest technology and design these high performance extractor fans are easy to install and are attractively styled in high gloss ABS thermoplastics for durability, ease of cleaning and maintenance and cover a wide variety of domestic and commercial applications including kitchens, utility rooms, pubs, restaurants, offices, shops and factories.

WF300 Series
  • The WF300 series basic model has fixed louvres and comes with or without pullcord switch. This unit will also provide a natural source of trickle flow ventilation when the fan is switched off.

XF300 Series INSTALLATION
  • The telescopic body on the XF300 built-in wall fan allows for easy installation in solid or cavity walls from 228mm (9") to 380mm (15").
     
  • An extension sleeve (Catalogue No. 1298) is available separately for walls up to 533mm (21").
     
  • Both the front and rear external surfaces of the telescopic body are covered with an expanded metal strip to allow for easy making good, by providing a sound key for the mortar or plaster.
     
  • The external and internal grilles have a 25mm flange for a smooth finish.

Construction
 
These fans are moulded in impact resistant high gloss ABS thermoplastics for strength, durability and finish.
 
Electrical
 
220-240V ~ A.C. 50Hz ns. Single phase consuming 120 watts. These fans are double insulated and do not require an earth. All wiring must comply with current IEE regulations. A double pole isolating switch, having a contact separation of at least 3mm in all poles, must be used with a 3 amp fuse fitted. The fan must not be accessible to a person using either the shower or the bath and mounted a minimum of 1.8 metres from the floor.
 
Motor
 
4 pole single phase induction motor with pre-oiled bearings fitted for a long maintenance free life and protected by a thermal auto resetting cut-out. Totally enclosed for protection against dust and dirt. Motors are continually rated.

Installation
 
WF300 Series. These fans are designed to be fitted in a window through a standard 320mm ø hole. A wall fixing kit catalogue No. 1299 is also available for through wall mounting which comprises of wall plugs, screws and a 400mm length of 9" diameter aluminum flexible ducting (when extended).
 
XF300 Series. Can be installed into solid or cavity wall from 228mm (9") - 380mm (15"). An extension sleeve is available separately for wall up to 533mm (21"). Catalogue No. 1298.
