150MM (6") Range of Extractor Fans
 
XF150 Series
  • The XF150 Series of 6" extractor fans can be wall or ceiling mounted. There are two models available in this range: The base model has a fixed louvre internal grille, while the automatic model has thermo-activated internal shutters which open silently approximately 45 seconds after the fan has been switched on (except the pullcord operated model). Both models are available in four options.
 
XF150A Series
  • The Standard option is for remote switching. Pullcord options are supplied with a built-in pullcord switch which open the shutters and start the fan motor unit. The Timer version incorporates an integral timer, adjustable between 1-20 minutes.
  • The Humidity Control option has a built-in humidity sensor which will switch on the fan when the humidity rises and off as it drops.
 
XP150/XP150A Series
  • The XP150 Series of 6" extractor fans comes complete with a through wall mounting kit. Each Pak contains 400mm of aluminium flexible ducting (when extended) and a grey external 6" wall grille for through wall fixing. Paks are available in basic or automatic versions as per the XF150 range.
 
WF150 Series
  • The WF150 Series is designed for window fitting through a standard 184mm (71/4") ø hole and can also be wall mounted using our wall fixing kit FK1 (catalogue No. 1300) available separately.
  • The WF150 Series base model has fixed louvres for trickle flow ventilation. The WF150M Series has external manual backdraught shutters, while the WF150A Series comes with thermo-activated internal shutters which open silently approximately 45 seconds after the fan has been switched on (except WF150AP pullcord operated model). As per the XF/XP150 Series it is available in the following options: Standard, Pullcord, Timer and Humidity control.
 
WF150M Series
  • The WF150 Series is pre-wired and comes complete with 1.5m of two core cable and, with the exception of the Standard option, includes a pullcord override switch. Timer and Humidity options also have a neon light.

Construction
 
These fans are moulded in impact resistant high gloss ABS thermoplastics for strength, durability and finish.
 
Electrical
 
220-240V ~ A.C. 50Hz ns. Single phase consuming 25 watts in the 150 Series and 45 watts on the 150A series. These fans are double insulated and do not require an earth. All wiring must comply with current IEE regulations. A double pole isolating switch, having a contact separation of at least 3mm in all poles, must be used with a 3 amp fuse fitted. The fan should not be accessible to a person using either the shower or the bath and mounted a minimum of 1.8 metres from the floor.
 
Motor
 
Single phase induction motor with pre-oiled bearings fitted for a long maintenance free life and protected by a thermal fuse.

Installation
 
XF150 Series. These fans are designed to be fitted in either a wall or a ceiling (Pullcord models wall mounting only). A wall fixing kit is available separately.
 
XP150 Series. These fans are designed for through wall fixing. Complete with Aluminium flexible ducting and wall grille.
 
WF150 Series. These fans are designed to be fitted in either a window or wall through a standard 184mm (7 ¼") hole. A wall fixing kit FK1 (1300) is available which comprises 7 ¼" wall plugs, screws and a 400mm length of 6" diameter aluminium flexible ducting (when fully extended).
