The Rectangular Fire Sleeve 204 x 60 mm is a CE‑Marked fire penetration seal designed to maintain the fire rating of walls where 204 x 60 mm PVC rectangular ducting passes through. The sleeve uses a vacuum‑formed intumescent material that expands under heat to seal the duct, reinstating the integrity and insulation performance of the wall without the need for metal sleeving or boxing out. Its compressible, low‑profile design allows accurate placement within the opening, and it can be cut lengthways for retrofit applications. The 180 mm sleeve length and required protrusion ensure correct installation in rigid walls, dry‑wall partitions and external SFS systems.

Technical Details
The fire sleeve is manufactured from a vacuum‑formed intumescent material designed to compress within the aperture and sit securely in the wall construction. It is suitable for installation in masonry, concrete, plasterboard and external SFS walls, and can also be fitted within ablative coated fire batts. The sleeve is CE‑Marked and tested to EN 1366‑3, with a required protrusion from each face of the wall to ensure correct positioning. The material is low smoke, zero halogen and intended for long‑term durability, with no active maintenance required beyond routine visual checks after surrounding works.

Fire Performance
The fire sleeve provides up to EI120 fire resistance when installed in accordance with the tested configurations. Under fire exposure, the intumescent material expands to close the duct opening and help prevent the passage of fire and smoke through the penetration. The product is tested in an uncapped/uncapped configuration, making it suitable for ventilated duct systems where open duct ends are present on both sides of the wall.
